Voice Recording 

Supplies: a voice recording device

Directions: Turn on the voice recordings and say everything you’ve ever wanted to say but you’ve never been allowed to. Don’t worry about saying it perfectly just say exactly how you feel speak it out loud get it out of your body when you use a voice recording. It feels like something is listening. Something is holding space for your words for your expression like it’s not just going out into space into nothingness, but with the voice recording, no one else has to hear it so you can say whatever you wanna say free any judgment free of any criticism. For me this practice is liberating.

Ysa's Note: I first learned about it when I was 14 with the chakra7 course by Carol Tuttle. It’s meant to coincide with your voice chakra if you feel like you’re holding a lot in if you feel like you’ve never been heard or you’re never allowed to express yourself or you feel blocked this is a great exercise. It’s meant to be free flow, there’s meant to be no judgment no editing no criticism. It’s just a place for you to express yourself fully without worrying how it comes across, without worrying about anyone else. This tool is simply meant for expression and then later you can choose whether you want to express your thoughts, feelings to another.

The 5th chakra is located at the throat. It is responsible for self- expression, communication, and creativity. The universal color for the throat chakra is blue though some traditions (like with Carol Tuttle) say you may have unique chakra colors individual to you.
