"Where Attention goes, Energy flows" James Redfield
Energy Awareness (as defined by Teeni Dakini): Our bodies are our instruments which allow us to fully experience life. Energy is our first language and we have a multitude of conversations happening that we may not even have awareness about.
Information can be communicated in languages beyond words & these languages are just as valid.
These are 5 primary skills for the movement of energy in the body. Energy Awareness Knowledge is perfect for kinesthetic learners because it is a felt-sense. These skills are necessary for getting out of destructive patterns and back to presence. This skills are also incredibly empowering because you have power over your thoughts, energy, and attention. They are things within your "control", within your realm of power. Though these practices may seem simple, they are powerful. They are tools that help you re-atune, recalibrate to yourself.
Each of these are a seperate component for one presencing.
Energy Awareness is sensation awareness, being tuned into all your senses. Some believe that people have an energetic field, that there are more senses than just sight, taste, touch, hearing, and smell. Energy Awareness can be described as a gut sense. The simplest way I can describe energy is when you walk into a room and you have this "sense" that something happened, whether it be two people who just had an argument or the "calm before the storm". Maybe you are so attuned to specific people that you have a "sense" or a "feeling" when that person is mad at you, attracted to you, avoiding you, etc. There is a subtle, undescrible knowing. I use the term "felt-sense" because these are specific practices for body sensations.
If you are unfamiliar with these practices, a simple way to start is to notice your noticeings. How do you feel overall without words?

Grounding: This is the skill of energetically connecting yourself to the earth, of having a relationship with what supports you, both physically and energetically. This is what gives you a felt sense of support.
Core: The skill of holding your attention on and feeling the center of your body. It is what gives you a felt sense of self. It is required for referencing yourself and perceiving what you actually feel and want rather than what others around you want and feel.
One must first be able to identify their core.
Me/ Not Me: This is skill of distinguishing between what is you and what is other (not you). Since other people's thoughts, feelings, and energies can get into your space and cause you to be confused about who you are and what you think and feel, you need a way to clean out your body and your personal space, removing everything that is "not me". If you have other people's feelings in your body, mixed in with your own, it can be very hard to figure out what you actually feel.
Clearing out anything that is not you and then filling up that space with you.
The saying of your own name can be a calling home to any parts of yourself you have left around the universe, in the past, with different people, or in memories.
This is about being filled up with you. Being full of yourself

Edge or Boundary: This is the skill of creating and holding an energetic boundary around your personal space, also known as your bubble. Just as each cell in your body has a cell membrane that regulates what enters and leaves the cell, each of us needs to have an energetic membrane around our personal space that regulates what enters and leaves our space. This boundary is also necessary for building an energetic charge within the body so that you can take effective action in the world.
Your edge is a 1 1/2 foot away from your body on every side, as a ratius. Fill yourself up to your edge.
you can program the receptors on your membrane to keep out what is toxic to you and only allow in what makes you more you. Allow in what nourishes you to become more yourself.
You bubble needs to be in integrity. Too thin, and the world is overwhelming. Too thick, and you are numb/ seperate to the world. You want the "goldilocks" - not too thin, not too thick, just right for you.
Tying Your Fibers: This skill is about reinforcing your edge and gathering your unconscious attention from wherever it has been, thus empowering your attention.
You are pulling your attention away from any unhealthy entanglements.
This skill is about untying unhealthy attachments and having only healthy attachments. Sometimes you can have unhealthy attachments to patterns, relationships, the past, the future, a project, or anything.
All of these skills will vary and change depending on the day, the moment, and your needs.
